Some of our activities
International collaboration
VR Finland has been actively collaborating internationally to promote and create connections for the Finnish XR ecosystem. Currently, we’re working with two EU projects.
Sharing information
We believe in sharing information to help smart and talented people get exited about XR and find their way to the ecosystem as builders or entrepreneurs. Mainly we share information via our blog, but we’ve also produced podcasts and do some public speaking.
Helping people meet
One of the key pillars of our activities has been creating meeting places for people. This has resulted in companies and products created, passion shared and ideas realised!
Challenges and Competitions
Together with our partners we’ve created international competitions XR Challenge and VAMR Challenge to promote the possibilities of XR and find talented teams and companies. We want to encourage people to try XR and get excited.
VR Afterworks
One of our core meetups has been VR Afterworks, an informal meeting of 2-3 hours. People having the same passion and ideas mingling together over some drinks and snacks. Simple and great!
Others activities
During the years, we’ve also been happy to be active in various types of projects helping the XR ecosystem develop. Such activities have included VR Sprint, participating in Steering Group work for projects and arranging technology demos for people.
